About us: The Houston Chapter of the Gypsy Motorcycle Club is one of over sixty chapters located in three countries and four states. We are a traditional motorcycle club who trace our origin to the Simerly family and friends who rode together in eastern Tennessee beginning in 1932. In March 1968 Papa Jack Simerly organized riders as the Gypsy Motorcycle Club in Corpus Christi. For over forty years the culture that Papa Jack established has created an attractive home for riders to become club members and our extended family.
The members in our chapter are, first and foremost, riders whose primary interest is being on the road, attending Gypsy MC and other rallies. We thrive on the camaraderie that can only be achieved by traveling together on two wheels.
